2️⃣ Who do you NOT love working with?

3️⃣ What is something you are freaking good at (or you want to become freaking good at!)?

Go sit and brainstorm on this…

Then…

Once you’ve done that… 

Write down 2 words on a piece of paper:

Sleep Consultant

And write them again, and again, and again, but expand them every time with one or two words…

Let me show you my example…

• Webdesigner for entrepreneurs

• Webdesigner for sleep consultant entrepreneurs

• Webdesigner for newly certified sleep consultant entrepreneurs

• Webdesigner for newly certified sleep consultant entrepreneurs who are not so tech-savvy

And keep going until you become a big fish in a small pond! 

Then… 

1. Become the best at what you do! 

2. Talk about it.. a lot!

3. Stay committed to your niche and messaging over the long term.

This way you position yourself as an expert, built trust… and THAT is the key to attract more clients and build a thriving business..

What can you offer for free that your ideal client wants, and how do you make it irresistible so that they are willing to leave their contact details?

Securing the contact details of your ideal clients is a golden opportunity to add them into your leadmagnet funnel; especially those who aren't ready to buy right now (and need a bit more nurtuing).

A leadmagnet funnel could look something like this:

Link in Bio --> Lead Magnet --> Email Sequence --> Invite for Call --> Sell + Close

As you can see.. it all starts with the link in your bio, leading to your lead magnet. This could be a link to a webinar, a complimentary (or low-priced) e-book, or an opt-in page for an exclusive discount code.

The crucial requirement? It must be SO good that your potential clients wonder, "If this is free, what will I get once I decide to invest?"

Some other things to consider:

1) It needs to be well designed. Of course, as a designer, I have to mention this first.

2) Needs to speak to your audience's pain points

3) Give them an easy quick win (which will boost your credibility!)

4) Make it specific and detailed as possible (yes go in the details!)

So, when that day comes that they are considering hiring a Sleep Consultant, you're on top of their mind.

Before diving into all the platforms and content i Before diving into all the platforms and content ideas, it’s important to take a step back and figure out what success actually looks like for you right now. 

- Are you trying to book more sleep assessment calls?
- Attract workshop attendees?
- Grow your email list?
- Increase awareness in your local community? 

Setting clear goals gives your marketing purpose and helps keep you focused on what truly moves the needle.

Think of your goals like setting a weight loss target. You wouldn’t just say, “I want to lose weight.” You’d specify how many pounds you want to shed, then adjust your habits—like eating, exercise, and daily routine—to hit that target. You’d track your progress on a scale, and you would know how every small win brought you closer to your goal. Your business works the same way. To succeed, you need a clear, specific target.

Write down what you want to achieve this month. Not vague wishes like “I want to be successful” or “I hope to get clients.” Your goals should be specific, measurable, and time-bound. 

For example:
- I want to book 5 sleep assessment calls this month.
- I want 20 parents to sign up for my workshop.
- I want to grow my email list by 50 subscribers.

Your goal doesn’t have to be huge. In fact, it’s better if it’s specific and achievable. Write it down somewhere you’ll see it often—on your desk or on a sticky note. Every time you create a piece of content, ask yourself, “Does this move me closer to this goal?”

If yes - GO DO IT
If no - adjust course...
